Emma is well known throughout the industry for creating timeless perfection with her iconic looks. Her successful reputation as a gifted make up artist ultimately rests on her enthusiasm and eye for detail. Raised in the Home Counties of England, Emma started working in the industry when she was only 14. Her passion for make up saw her combine her schooling and desire to work as an artist. Emma is unique in other ways as she is probably the only make up artist in the world to also have gained a Bachelors Degree in Astrophysics. Emma lived in the eclectic city that is London for 15 years, fine tuning her skills and working alongside prestigious photographers such as Joel Anderson, Clive Arrowsmith, JP Masclet, Stefano Massimo, Richard McLaren, Perou and John Swannell among others. They collaborated with her on shoots for many major publications including British and US Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Instyle, Mens Health, Oyster, Vanity Fair and 125. ES magazine named Emma as one of London’s hottest make up artists and listed her in their Beauty Bible. Emma was also recently the Key Make Up Artist for the designer Mark Fast at London Fashion Week. Her work is not just consigned to print; she also has a successful career working in television, on entertainment shows like Strictly Come Dancing to documentaries like Ross Kemp Interviews. Emma is also a regular on music shows such as MTV Europe Music Awards and the MOBO’s. Her trusted experience working with celebrities means that she is a favourite with the likes of Morgan Freeman, Maria Bartiromo, Jo Brand, Jamie Cullum, Depeche Mode, Franz Ferdinand, James Fox, Thierry Henry, John Hurt, Myleene Klass, Simon and Yasmin Le Bon, Jared Leto, Daisy and Pearl Lowe, Sir Paul McCartney, Kimberly Stewart, Justin Timberlake and Will.i.Am. Emma has not just used her highly attuned skills, her calm and professional manner for her own career; she has worked for the Environmental Justice Foundation with the respected photographer Matthew Eades and also the London charity Centrepoint; in workshops helping homeless youngsters feel more confident about themselves as they integrate themselves into new jobs and living off the streets.
