Adina Fohlin was born december 20, 1984 in Sweden. Before she was discovered in the streets of Stockholm by Emmanuelle Ault, fashion director of French Vogue, she studied at the Royal Swedish Opera’s ballet academy.
The creative director of her mother agency described her as a girl who does not resemble a typical model. Addi as her friends call her, appeared on the cover of Japanese and Italian Vogue, swedish ELLE and Flair. Her first entrance on international catwalks was the spring 2001 prêt-à-porter season for fashion houses such as Christian Dior, Gucci, Prada and Chanel. In addition to her substantial catwalk career she was published in advertisements like Armani Exchange, Tommy Hilfiger, Moschino Jeans or Yves Saint Laurent.
