The Canadian model Alana Zimmer was born June 6 1987 in Ontario. While working at a restaurant called East Side Mario’s, she was discovered by a friend of a Milan modeling scout and debuted on the spring runways in New York and Milan when she walked for Dolce & Gabbana, Chanel and Proenza Schouler in 2006.
WWD named her as a face to watch and also Style.com featured her on the Top Ten Models of spring 2007.
