Before Anouck Lepère (born February 15 ,1979) in Belgium started her promising career as a model, she studied architecture. Her friends and fashion designers Dries van Noten and Olivier Theyskens persuaded Lepère to try modelling. Soon after she debuted in the Dries van Noten show in Paris 1999. One year after the dead of her father, Lepère moved to New York and gained international recognition. Lepère appeared on her first cover for Soma and has also been featured on the covers of Italian Marie Claire and Nylon. Furthermore she signed a fragrance contract with Hugo Deep Red perfume and became the face of Louis Vuitton and Missoni. Next she was photographed for Italian Vogue by Paolo Roversi and closed the spring Prada show 2001 in Milan. She also walked for Chrisitian Lacroix in Paris and was part of the Victoria´s Secret fashion show. Photographers like Steven Meisel, Patrick Demarchelier shot her for advertisements such as Tommy Hilfiger and Prada. Lepère also became the face of Tiffanys & Co, Bally, Pollini and Jimmy Choo and modeled for a Gap ad campaign. In 2002 Lepère created a jewelry line for girls with un-pierced ears. Stars like Christina Ricci, Janet Jackson and Alicia Keys wear the collection. She had runway appearances for Miu Miu, Gucci, Diane von Furstenberg and Dolce & Gabbana and continued to attract designers in couture shows of Chanel, Givenchy, Louis Feraud and Anne Valerie Hash. Also the Playboy kept an eye on Lepère, so that in 2008 she appeared on the cover of the French issue.
