Raquel grew up in San Francisco. An economics student, her life changed the day she met Metallica’s drummer Lars Ulrich. “I was doing the 9 to 5 in a grocery store, and meeting someone who had followed his instinct made me realize it was only up to me to choose my path”. She took a one-way ticket to New York City, where she hung out at CBGB’s and started taking polaroids. Now based in Paris, she has her own blog, is one half of DJ act MR (with fellow WM model Mollie), and is working on her first photography book.
