Photographer
Born in 1933 in Hamburg, Germany, Karl Lagerfeld began working as a photographer in 1987 in addition to his career as fashion designer and perfume creator. He received the Lucky Strike Design Award from Raymond Loewy Foundation and the cultural prize of the German Photographic Society. Lagerfeld has published several book of his photography and founded the Lagerfeld Gallery in Paris in 1998.
