Born and raised in Australia, Lachlan Bailey completed a Bachelor of Arts in film and media to work within the film industry. Becoming increasingly involved in photography led him to the decision to return to Melbourne’s RMIT University, where he gained a second degree in Photography. Moving to London in 2001 he spent the next few years assisting various high profile fashion photographers. Currently Lachlan is contributing to British and Chinese Vogue, Doingbird and i-D and has collaborated with several big fashion editors, including Lucinda Chambers, Jonathan Kaye and Nancy Rohde. He has also shot advertising campaigns for Louis Vuitton, Jimmy Choo, Burberry, Kurt Geiger, Jaeger, Links of London and Paul Smith Fragrance.
