Born in Lima and raised there as well as in America and New Zealand, Mariano Vivanco studied photography in Melbourne, Australia. In 2000 he moved to London and contributed to numerous well-known magazines such as i-D, Vogue Nippon, L’Uomo Vogue, Vogue Homme International, Details, Dazed & Confused, Another Magazine, 10 Magazine, 10 Man and GQ International. According to that Mariano has published four books for Dolce & Gabbana lable featuring famous soccer players including Cannavaro, Gattuso and Shevchenko and shot the prestigious Dieux Du Stade Calendar 2007 featuring the French Rugby Team. In 2007 he held his first solo exhibition supported by Dazed & Confused at the Print Space Gallery in London, followed by another solo exhibition in Milan showing his imagery of the model David Gandy for Dolce & Gabbana’s 2008 calendar. In addition to that Mariano has also worked with several celebrities including Eva Mendes, Dita von Teese, Naomi Campbell, Eva Herzigova, Stephen Daldry and Sir Paul Smith. Currently he lives and works in London and New York.
