Born and raised in Amsterdam, photographer Matthias Vriens subjects are often in sexually-charged situations in sweeping landscapes bathed in his signature crystalline light. Matthias editorial work appeared in all the major magazines such as Vanity Fair, Rolling Stone, The New York Times Magazine, Vogue Homme, Numéro, Japanese and Russian Vogue, GQ, Pop and Wonderland. He has also been Editor-In Chief of Dutch Magazine, Creative Director of Giorgio Armani and Senior Art Director at Gucci Group. His advertising clients list include Sisley, Paul & Joe, Dunhill, Givenchy and Celine Fever.
