Starting out as a documentary and portrait photographer, Pelle Bergström can look back on a successful 25 years and is now one of Sweden’s leading and most distinguished still-life photographers who pioneered the move to digital photography in Scandanavia as early as the late 1990s. He gained global recognition for his distinctively minimalistic, yet highly elegant and sophisticated, potent and powerful style and has worked for international luxury brands including such as Hérmès, Luis Vuitton and Marc Jacobs. In addition to that he shot advertising campaigns for Nokia, Philips, IKEA, SAS, Ittala, NK, Rizzo, Hackman and Efva Attling. His editorial work has been published in magazines such as Wallpaper, Stockholm New and Bon.
