Borin in 1971 in Belgium, Willy Vanderperre studied Photography and Fashion at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp where he met his longstanding collaborator Raf Simons alongside many of the Belgian fashion designers of his generation. Vanderperre contributes to major magazines including Arena Homme Plus, Another Magazine, Another Man, Pop, L’Uomo Vogue, V and Self Service.According to that he shot advertising campaigns for Calvin Klein, Perry Ellis, Azzaro and Raf Simons.
