Ukrainian-born documentary photographer, painter and music video director Yelena Yemchuck started shooting fashion just for fun in 2001. She has contributed to Italian and Japanese Vogue, The New Yorker and W. Because her pictures tell stories instead of just presenting pretty dresses she hit the A-list in record time and has shot advertising campaigns for Kenzo, Cacharel and Dries van Noten.
