Robert Clyde Grima was born and raised in a remote Part of Western Australia in a small mining town. This is where Robert first developed his passion for photography, viewing his Father's travels to Europe documented as slides on his Projector. Just Like his fathers work Robert loved the way images could tell a story, a Visual Narrative is something that is prominant in Robert's work. Robert soon started his career while still at School at the early age of 14. After his studies Robert began working for major Fashion Companies internationaly with his work published in many magazines worldwide including OYSTER MAGAZINE, RUSSH, DÉSIRS magazine and LA’G Magazine to name a few. Robert also regularly participates and contributes to many Art Projects from all over the world. Along the way Robert has shot all the world - Famous Australian Models and was amongst the first to shoot supermodel Gemma Ward. One of Robert’s most recent exhibitions to date was sposored by ABSOLUT VODKA in which Robert documented a series of emerging Muscians in Australia exploring the up rise of their stardom. Robert has been Nominated for Australian Fashion Photographer of the year 2008. Robert Lives and Works in New York City.
