GREEN Showroom at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin SS10
by Beeke Melcher posted on May 22, 2009Since being ecological became so hip in the fashion industry, everyone involved in the rag trade has expanded their lines into eco fashion, fair trade and organic materials. Ecological clothing is developing itself into more and more fashionable ways and the GREEN Showroom event evolves the idea further into a high eco fashion showroom.
Due to run along the same times as Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin Spring/Summer 2010, from 1st to 4th July, Berlin’s best known luxury Hotel, Adlon Kempsinski, will host the GREEN Showroom event. The show is spread across six suite vendors of up to 20 labels whom will present their women’s and men’s wear, accessories, shoes, beauty, jewelry and food by an organic integration in the hotel rooms.
GREEN showroom is presented by the organization GREENaffairs, an initiative who gives green fashion a platform and wants to establish specialised events, meetings and workshops for the cause.
The fourth and last day of the event is the ‘Public Day’, which will give the opportunity for non-professionals to get a glance at the exhibiting brands and of course buy stuff! So if you have a green heart – don’t miss out!
