PREMIUM "Gimme 5 Labels" Report - Part 5: Organic Design Dose
by Rie Cau posted on July 17, 2009It is with much sadness that we present the last part of our PREMIUM “Gimme 5 Labels” Report, but nonetheless, this is not a goodbye, as we promise to endlessly bring you more and more premium innovative labels.
With a funky name like ODD, the Americal label, which actually stands for Organic Design Dose certainly catches our full attention.
However, it is of course not the name alone that we like, but also their conceptual ideals and of course, clever designs which combines fashion with complex hi-tech environmentalism.
Ultimately, this is an innovative and avant-garde blend that dares to move us towards a stylish all-green utopian future.
It might sound strange and overly environmentally enthusiastic to wear a soybean and cashmere blended top, but you should not judge clothes until you have tried it on, because it is truly tempting with its smoother-than-silk soft touch.
Utterly, this makes it something you would want to wear all year around – not only because of its light smooth feel, but also because of its stylish, antifungal and anti-bacterial design.
Namely, 18 essential amino acids are present in the fibre and that offers protection against those nasty bacteria.
Moreover, ODD produces a milk-blended wool cardigan, which promises to enrich the skin with its essential milk proteins to give it an all-over healthy boost for every skin type, even the lactose intolerant.
We like it, not only because of its groundbreaking ideas, which allows us to look good and feel good, but also because to do good. Essentially, 1% of the sales revenue is donated to an environmental organisation of ODD‘s choice.
Now, that is genuinely genius!
