Alternative Styles At Share PR
by Johannes Keil posted on April 27, 2009During Berlin Press Days one month back, we visited laid-back PR agents share PR at their showroom at the FOURSTORE, in Berlin-Mitte’s Mulackstrasse.
share PR was established as a community of interest, after a group of designers decided that self-promotion would be their weapon of choice in the everlasting hunt for publicity in the fashion circus. Amongst the original founders are Montreal natives, GARTER & ASP and A.D.Deertz, formerly known as ADD. This D.I.Y. PR agency definitely ticks all the boxes by providing a great atmosphere to potential clients and showing definitive style in all they do.
Of share PR, the one brand that captured LEXPOSURE’s attention most was BUTTERFLYSOULFIRE by Berlin-based fashion chameleons Thoas Lindner & Maria Thomas.
Through their use of elegance, modernity and coolness, BUTTERFLYSOULFIRE’s style is truly unique. Our favourite pieces were most definitely their coats, which are fashionable but always have a certain twist to them! The brand topped their left-of-centre reputation with a cute but cool guerilla marketing campaign that featured reams of sheep’s wool. Adding it all up: BUTTERFLYSOULFIRE remains firmly atop our list of ones to watch.
Last but not least, colleagues Boessert/Schorn who presented their stuff together with BUTTERFLYSOULFIRE in Japan and participated in Karstadt’s New Generation Award could also convince with their inside out seams and colourful knitwear.
So, dear share PR folks – if you feel like having company in the future, we would love to come see you again!
