Mario Schwab ready-to-fall wear 2010
by Floor Serbrock posted on February 25, 2010So New York Fashion Week is turning out to not be as heinous as I initially raged about. Mario Schwab exhibited yet another beautiful collection, consisting primarily of fully clothed upper bodies and bare long legs. Characteristic to this fall‘s collection, are white blouses with suspender/vest type contraptions, sharp cuts and weird layers. Many of the compositions seem to go for a kinky alter-ego of Maid Marian circa Prince of Thieves look. Other dresses remind me of Hussein Chalayan‘s more down-to-earth creations.
Though not as eye-popping as his last Spring collection, the Fall season of Schwab is interesting and beautifully crafted, definitely something I would be ready-to-wear, now if only someone would give me the money.
