The Selby made his way to Paris to give us a “behind the scenes” look of the exemplary French hipster. Next up is André Saraiva, yes this André aka Monsieur A who has lately been quite busy with several projects he is doing together with Thierry Costes of the Costes hotel and restaurant chain. Aside from the short but fun interview, “The Selby” takes a closer look at Hotel Amour in Paris, one of the several creative ventures the artist did recently.

Originally born in Sweden but brought up in Paris young André started tagging the streets in 1985 with his trademark Mr. A, a stick figure with a winking eye and a top hat.

He now co-owns the uber-cool club Beatrice Inn in Manhattan, NY with Paul Sevigny (brother of Chloë Sevigny, who launched her fashion line in cooperation with Opening Ceremony last year) and another two night clubs with Lionel Bensemoun in Paris, called funnily enough Le Paris Paris and Le Baron. Most probably he is the “coolest“ person ever and maybe BFF of Terry Richardson. How could we forget the Purple cover of the Fall/Winter issue 2007. Since then most girls know why Uffie is dating this French flamboyant entrepreneur.
