Bregje Rules Amsterdam Fashion Week
by Erik Pulles posted on February 04, 2009Fashion Week season is upon us yet again and Amsterdam wrapped up its biannual fashion week last Sunday. It was a five day fashion frenzy in the Dutch capital. And with a fashion frenzy, a model frenzy is never far away. As part of a challenge win, America’s Next Top Model finalists McKey Sullivan and Samantha Potter took over the catwalks. A favorite of Gaultier and international topmodel Cicely Telman also made appearances at several shows.
But among the crowd of young Dutch girls who come to Amsterdam Fashion Week to build some runway experience and possibly get ready for the big cities, one girl stood out by a mile. It was Micha Models’ stunner Bregje Heinen. The fifteen yearold walked some of the week’s biggest shows, such as Eva & Delia, Claes Iversen and Mada van Gaans. Her full lips, bright blue eyes and overall killer looks make her a beautiful girl. But she also has this absolutely tantalizing presence on the runway that just makes it impossible to avert your eyes from her. When a girl steps onto the runway and knows how to electrify the audience by just being there, you know she is a hot commodity. Chances are she will take her magical powers abroad soon as her showcard at Women Direct for New York fashion week has surfaced already. If the international clients are ready to amp up their shows with girls that bring a buzz to the clothes they are wearing, then prepare to feel the electricity.
