Lola - Her Name Is Lola!

Marc Jacobs is expanding his empire in the fragrance sector with a new addition to the collection called ”Lola“. The face of the fragrance campaign is none other than the American ballet-dancer-turned model Karlie Kloss.
As customarily, the campaign is photographed by Jurgen Teller and exhibits that distinctive trait of a Marc Jacobs ad: boundless liberation, eccentricity and a roaaaaarr-so-raw edge.
Ms. Kloss ‘ famous stoned death stare and fierce child-woman look consequently became the perfect face to embody the fragrance that Mr. Jacobs described as the vampy older sister of Daisy, one of his best selling fragrance launched in 2007.
Lola is constructed with a mix of pink peppercorn, ruby red grapefruit, vanilla and musk. It is presented in a delicately crafted bottle that looks almost like a magical elixir with a retro flower on the top. This immaculately illustrates Lola‘s sensual, flirtatious warm spirits.
Following Mr. Jacobs’ success with his current fragrance range (Daisy, Marc Jacobs Womens and Splash), experts have predicted a retail sales of $30 million USD alone in the U.S. and $75 million USD globally.
Lola will hit the shelves in Bloomingdale‘s this August exclusively for just one month prior to its global launch in November.
Ohhh… Love Lola!
