Jessica is like a precious little jewel that Elite treasures instead of overexposing her. Having walked in the spotlights of Prada Resort last year certainly means a lot but sudden hype quickly gets out of control and the strategy was a lot wiser than that. Walking any show labeled as close to Prada is a huge bonus but doesn’t secure a whole career which needs time and hard work. Or simply the ability to take the right opportunities, one after the other, to gather them in order to build the perfect portfolio. May we call Teen Vogue such an opportunity ?

Certainly yes. Teen Vogue offers both an incredible training ground for young ladies making their first steps and some high profile editorial pieces for their portfolio. Jessica worked with Arthur Elgort and it’s clearly something one wouldn’t overlook while having a glimpse at her roster. May issue was one of the reasons we thought of Jessica as a good Lexposed Faces, showcasing how she kept her freshness from the start and managed to improve her presence in front of the camera. The 18-years-old model from Texas, originally from Kim Dawson Agency there, has probably more hidden assets than Prada and Teen Vogue. But, if we want to talk about facts only, these two are rock-solid proofs she’s got what it takes to catch the good eyes

Precious new faces are getting more and more attention these days in New York as July is ending and the big things are starting next month already. Everybody is trying to get his best weapon in town, secret or highly promoted. Between the two opposite strategies, there is a few girls that neither hidden nor overexposed. Not yet. Apart from having some strange nicknames like wildcards or dark horses, these girls are often the ones who take the cake at the end of the fashion week. Neither totally surprising nor completely expected, just going where they have to and doing what they need to do. As simple as it sounds. This way to launch a career reamins one of the most reliable as all you need is a few words from the agent and a bunch of good polaroids.

That’s exactly how we noticed Tina Veshaguri, with a few great pictures and the right description. Digitals made in Paris in Next Models’ very typical style were just enough to make up our mind and the amount of exclamation marks in the mail we received gave us a hint on her agency’s excitement. Found via the extended and intensive scouting programme of Noah Models and currently under development at Next worldwide, Tina quickly went from her girl-with-promising-polas status to one of most photogenic newcomers of this upcoming season. Day in, day out or straight ahead to stardom, she’s on her way.

We discovered Theresa Genth during our trip in Hamburg. Sunny April afternoon, ten girls waiting for their interview at Modelwerk’s offices, many stunners and one who will stay in our memories forever. Theresa was that precious one who stood out from the crowd with her impressive look and laid-back attitude, smart and playful. Time hasn’t stop running since that day and her career has taken a good turn with recent shows in Berlin. It was a good opportunity to let explode her potential and let people know about it. You could notice it from your seat, front or last row, just sitting down and watching the collection. You could also have a deeper perception of it by spending a few minutes backstage after the show. That’s what we did, running straight ahead to the back entrance of the tent and, believe us, it was worth the trip.

The same happened again. In Hamburg we were impressed by her look and by look we mean both her face and her overall style, in Berlin it simply blew us away. Theresa is a model from head to toe, from her strawberry-blond locks to her shoes via that sparkling jacket she wears like nobody else. The portrait sounds striking already but it wouldn’t be complete without that incredible personality we mentioned above. Are we going too far in the lovely description ? Too dramatic in our choice of words ? Not sure if you consider which shows she managed to book during that week. Michalsky, Schumacher or Kai Kuhne all sound good and look good on a show list, Boss Orange was simply the most coveted. She walked them all. We weren’t the only ones to be impressed. Clearly.

Now, keeping the future in mind, Theresa has probably much more to offer and her talents should bring her a few more attractive opportunities. Latest news include some glossy pages on their way. And while waiting for more, we could say she’s in our ears in our eyes. A little pastiche to celebrate a unique model…

She was on our list of future Lexposed Faces for months and finally arrives today. Last Tuesday of July, last minutes of the afternoon, the evening is coming soon but the frenzy doesn’t settle down. Every single reason would be good enough to feature Isabella but for the most unknown ones we’ve never published these sensational polaroids until now. We felt it was time, big time. There is too much in her portfolio today to keep it silent any longer and time is going by, September is closer than ever.

Isabella is working. Relentlessly. Not just working a little bit here or there, she’s building a rock-solid portfolio and makes sure to keep it international (with Elite Paris, Milan, London and Amsterdam, One in New York). Little by little yet already counting a few highlights that can’t be misunderstood. She’s got tests with almost all our favorite photographers from Yorick Nubé to Jonathan Leder, editorials in a handful of magazines and glossy paper seems to love her a lot, runway experiences and so on. The list is long, the names are strong.

It would look like the typical package of any other of our Lexposed Faces if she hadn’t already a campaign under her belt. She appeares on the latest version of Armani Jeans shot by Takay, beautiful in black and white and charismatic as always. A natural evolution for a model who basically started at Armani Privé during Couture fashion week one year ago. Couture or denim doesn’t matter much, Isabella seems to have fun with every single piece of her portfolio.

Friday, the afternoon is ending and soon the weekend is coming. Time is running too fast with the good aspects and the less good ones. You don’t have to like it, just to take the best opportunties it brings. And the latest we’ve been brought is called Romana Chuda, one of the most stunning face we’ve seen lately. Currently in Milan where she calls Why Not Models her home, we couldn’t not publish her fresh digitals (taken only three days ago) before the weekend. Opportunities, we said.

Romana comes from Unique-One who has offices in Prague and Bratislava, an agency we count among the great sources in this part of Europe. Good eyes in the right area. If you are mistaken by her almost cute and youthful face, you’ll be even more delighted to learn about her silhouette. The lovely newcomer has endless legs and perfect measurements from head to toe. Nothing is impossible and introducing Romana was the very best reason to postpone the weekend tonight.

Discovered by 2B Models in Latvia, definitely one of the agency to watch at the place to watch, Laila Pudule made her first steps in New York with Ford Models and we’ve just received her freshest news from London. Her future looks brighter than ever and her polaroid sheet is like a good taste of what’s coming up. We couldn’t tell you in detail what it’s going to be but when you’ll see the results we guess you’ll be quite smitten. Be patient, September is coming soon. Right now it’s all about her look and there is much to see, much to say just looking at her latest pictures.

With a portfolio getting better and better with each new polaroid, each new test, Laila’s career relies mostly on her unique look. Expressive eyes, light-brown locks. The best thing could be that she looks moody on pictures, not in real life which is a huge advantage for a new face today.A warmly welcome combination that could turn into her signature as time and show seasons go by.
