Rankings

With the recent portfolios of our top 5 – even the top 10 – all stacked full of summer editorials and FW09 campaigns, it was an incredibly close contest, especially between #1 Raquel and #2 Sasha. However, the September rankings are not finalized, and the results, considering each girl’s recent work, seem to be fair comparisons as to their power in the industry. But let us not forget the newer names either: Constance, Jac, and Dree are still in the lower half, but with the Fall/Winter season just beginning, who knows where they’ll be come December?

As always, the rankings are determined by a points system that mathematically determines a model’s ranking based on his/her quantity AND quality of work from the past six months. This allows the system to be fool-proof and free of bias. Four rankings will be published in a year (March, June, September, and December) to provide thorough assessments as to the models’ recent work. The results may turn out to be surprising, but the supporting evidence is there for each and every position, and thus we have full confidence in the dependability of these rankings and hope you enjoy them as a great resource as well.
