A great runway season (As usual) helps Magdalena with grabbing the competitive #25 spot for this month. Whether it is walking or posing, she immediately draws one’s attention, and her rare ability will hopefully continue to translate into more printwork at the highest level.

An almost surprising choice for Prada campaign exclusives late last year, Ymre has ushered in a new era of imagery for the brand — one that the SS09 campaign certainly follows. Making her mark as the most in-demand model of Indian origin today, Lakshmi has opened the doors for further diversity in the industry. This Canadian dancer never ceases to amaze clients and photographers with her refreshing look. And with couturiers like Jean Paul Gaultier as support, we can certainly expect even more unique results as she continues her craft. Her choice to serve as E! Canada correspondent was a fun change, but it unfortunately contributed to a lack of runway points. However, she will likely bounce back in no time.

Even with some Vogue US appearances, one can’t help but question, “Where has Catherine been lately?” Despite being a tour de force on the runway, the stunning Aussie only made a few FW09 appearances, choosing instead to lay low. She will likely return to the pages of many top international publications soon, but until then, her position on the rankings dips a little.
