Katrin drops slightly again this month, mainly because others close to her position have strolled ahead with additional points. Nevertheless, as a Steven Meisel favorite and someone who graced Vogue Italia’s cover twice in a row, her impact upon the field in the past few months remains strong. For May, a Numero editorial adds more diversity and flair to her book.

This Canadian dancer never ceases to amaze clients and photographers with her refreshing look. And with couturiers like Jean Paul Gaultier as support, we can certainly expect even more unique results as she continues her craft. Her choice to serve as E! Canada correspondent was a fun change, but it unfortunately contributed to a lack of runway points. However, she will likely bounce back in no time.

Caroline finally returns to the top 25 with an expected cover appearance for Vogue US May. Like her compatriot Raquel, this is her second Vogue US cover in two years, and it’s no doubt further proof of Anna Wintour’s personal devotion to this Brazilian stunner. While she has laid low otherwise, there is really no need for her schedule to be overwhelmed — she has already made her mark in more ways than one.

After a couple of seasons as Gucci and Chanel’s female star, Freja continues her dominance both on the catwalk and off. What has been stopping her from positioning now is less lucrative campaign bookings – but closing Chanel Couture SS09 as Karl’s bride (For the second time) and a return to the Chanel campaign for next season are, no doubt, another beginning for better things to come.

Campaigns for Alberta Ferretti/Phi, a well-selected list of FW09 runway shows, and an almost-unexpected Vogue Italia cover/editorial appearance has propelled Kinga back again into the top tier of the industry. Even after all these seasons, she continues to shock and awe, and we are thrilled to see where her never ending potential will take her next.
