The editorial accordingly titled, ‘Moroccan Holiday‘, that he did for italian Vogue’s May issue, takes you on a sensual trip and appears to be more than just a simply a get away from the every day. In it, Meisel takes the top Russian model, Sasha Pivovarova , and juxtaposes her by shooting the piece in the hot desert – making Sasha the desert rose and the viewer feel like a fascinated local native.
