Polina Barbasova will always have her own place among our favorite models. Since her debuts in New York (with Ford Models) last year where she did fantastic tests with some of the greatest photographers. We can’t forget her work with Jonathan Leder where we’ve noticed some incredible editorial abilities. Something like six months later and a few more stories published in magazines like French Revue de Modes and here came Polina on New York runways again booking the likes of Brian Reyes, Generra or Julian Louie (unforgettable casting). Even more striking seems to be her work in London (with Union Models) despite being silent on british catwalks.

On the cover of newly released Spring Summer 2009 issue of Bon magazine with a seriously thrilling story by Stefan Zschernitz inside, showing once again her ability to bring her own touch of drama. High emotions out of her fierce eyes and beautiful jawline. And it’s not about to end as she also has another editorial in Plastique issue 4. Most likely more to come and more updates for sure.
