The May issue of Dazed & Confused showcases Gossip’s vocalist, Beth Ditto, on its cover.  Looking super fierce Ditto sports a Prince Valiant haircut and overly exaggerated 60’s eye make-up with huge rouge noir lips –  a look which is reminiscent of Alexander McQueen’s Paris show with a neck piece adorning oodles of kisses.

Since appearing naked on the cover for the debut issue of LOVE Magazine, Beth Ditto seems to be popping up everywhere.  After several front row appearances at the current fashion weeks including the honour of Karl Lagerfeld’s Chanel show, Ditto has become totally embraced by the fashion industry.

Don’t get us wrong – it’s not that we don’t like Beth as she is the personification of non-perfection in mainstream ideals – we just wonder where all of the recent public awareness has hailed from.
