Dazed & Confused August 2009: Julia‘s 3-D Swedish Storm
by Rie Cau posted on July 10, 2009Trust Jefferson Hack, the editor in chief and co-founder of the monthly British fashion-meets-art magazine Dazed & Confused, to bring us something other worldly. This time, he is bringing us into another dimension with a mesmerising 3-D cover for August 2009 featuring Swedish model Julia Hafström.
Photographed by Terry Tsiolis, the fresh face beauty is surely causing her own sensational Swedish storm on her very first cover for Dazed & Confused.
Stylist Nicola Formichetti transformed the rising IMG model into a somewhat mechanical robot for the cover by dressing her in Marios Schwab‘s shapely shocking-red dress with dazzling Swarovski crystal details.
Ms. Hafström‘s adorable Pippi-Longstocking-esque freckles were all blushed out for this photoshoot, while her beautiful blonde hair was sleeked back and her signature pout was painted in a soft shade of nude.
The all-twisted dazed and confused experience in another dimension continues with an editorial fittingly entitled ”Another dimension”.
The editorial and the issue are best viewed with the 3-D glasses, which comes complimentarily along with the magazine.
So forget about the IMAX – the larger-than-life 3-D cinema complex – and embrace the August 2009 issue of Dazed & Confused !
