Natasha already autumnal
by Beeke Melcher posted on April 23, 2009Miss Poly pulls off a trench on the cover of the 2009 June Issue of Vogue Nippon June.
The photograph was taken by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin and in it Natasha looks ready for the infamous British autumnal weather. Hair styling for the shoot was done by Eugene Souleiman and the styling was done by George Cortina. The very natural looking makeup was done by Jeanine Lobell.
Truth be told, the cover ain’t overwhelming. For my taste it’s too beige and just why anyone would think of using a wind machine to take photographs always leaves me questioning their motives. In fact, the Inez & Vinoodh Daria Werbowy cover for Vogue UK’s May issue didn’t convince but was saved by a kick as editorial – here’s hoping this issue will follow suit!
