Half an hour of an uncanny intensity (Minute Mood)
by Maud Lemoine posted on January 27, 2009We’ve been following every step of Anouk Hagemeijer. Editorials, runways and extras. Here is a little extra, a bright little extra by Eric Guillmain. As there is no better topic than a model we love working with a photographer we love, here we go for a picture that perfectly embodies our vision of both Eric and Anouk. We know him as one of these photographers who captures some little things other don’t and count him among the ones who influenced our tastes. While we owe to Chadwick Tyler to unveil some hidden sides of the models he works with, while we’re mesmerized by the atmospheres on Jonathan Leder’s or James Mahon’s shots, we’ll always remain sincerely thankful to Eric for his talent to catch some particular moments. The unexpected pose. The mood of a minute. Our readers on FDIB already knows it, we love Anouk. She appeared in V and Glamour Italia, walked for Marithé + François Girbaud and Erin Fetherston among others, both with avant-garde castings. Big brown brows. Drama. Intensity. We can only trust Eric when he told us working with her was intense. We can only believe it looking at the picture. Let’s say it again, she’s fabulous.
