The new rankings have arrived!

After the hectic March-April ready-to-wear runway season, the point totals have finally been tallied, leading to some interesting shifts in our female top 25. While catwalk totals are not as weighted as other bookings, for some consistent performers (e.g. Magdalena) the boost can provide decent impact in terms of their position. Major March Vogue covers for Iris Strubegger and Kinga Rajzak gave them even more leverage, propelling both girls to their highest placements yet. All eyes right now, however, are on the much-anticipated May Vogue US cover, in which some top names will likely gain some additional advantage over others. Perhaps Jourdan Dunn (If the rumors about the issue are true) will finally situate herself in a top 25 position, making up lost ground from the surprising lack of SS09 campaign bookings.

On the male side, the rise of Jamie Strachan and Eddie Tucker are worth noting, while the appearances of Gordon Bothe and Michael Gstöttner bring even more eclecticism to the overall look of the top 25. Until more magazines pop up, however, this side of the industry will likely remain somewhat stagnant until around June/July, when the European menswear runway season goes into full force.
