The ZSEGA line is a high-end, primarily women’s clothing and accessories line established in 2007 in Los Angeles, California. Zsega Fashion House LLC creates, manufactures, and markets its own designs. Zsega has created an original twist on modern fashion by venturing outside of expected linear concepts and by infusing bold and sophistication with organic elegance. Draping layers of texture and color are infused with original patterns and hand-made prints, yielding Zsega’s signature look and unique style. Despite the label’s main focus being centered on women’s clothing, there seems to be a growing interest in their men’s line as well. Zsega also creates simple yet strikingly original women’s handbags that have become quite popular in the European markets. Produced entirely in the original Berlin studio, the bags are made only out of high-quality leather, waxed cotton and colorful hand printed lining. The Zsega line is a high-end, primarily women’s clothing line designed by Zsuzsa Kovacs and Jessica Richard. These two leading designers met while attending Vivienne Westwood’s prestigious fashion course at Berlin’s University of Art and Design, and immediately formed a strong friendship and creative partnership that has lead to establishing their own designer line, ZSEGA. The two designers are now teamed up with fashion model Regina Ujhazi and attorney-at-law Barbara Reardon to realize their vision of bringing their unique designs to the major fashion markets around the world. Their image of the Zsega line is never compromising, always aiming and looking for the most unique fabrics and cuts. Being in the heart of Europe enables them to keep a finger on the pulse of European fashion. The brand has earned instant acclaim by being honored with Blaec’s 2007 New Designer Award and the Editors Choice Award in the StyleBakery's 4th annual On the Rise Awards. Zsega’s originality and unique style are directly attributed to the designer’s separate interests and influences from growing up in two different countries. Zsuzsa from Budapest, Hungary and Jessica from Berlin, Germany have blended their own histories together to create a fashion forward way of thinking.
