Famed for his geeky large black glasses and baseball caps, Terry Richardson was born in New York City and raised in Hollywood. An internationally known celebrity photographer, he started photographing in High School. His work is by turns humorous, tragic, beautiful, shocking and usually provocative and highly sexualized. He‘s contributed to all the major magazines including American, British, French and Japanese Vogue, i-D, The Face, Dazed&Confused, GQ, W and Purple and has shot advertising campaigns for labels such as Gucci, Sisley, Miu Miu, Levi’s, Chloe, APC, Carolina Herrera, Nike and Kenneth Cole. His impressive client list includes famous actors and musicians such as Daniel Day Lewis, Leonardo DiCaprio, Tom Ford, Marc Jacobs, Sharon Stone, Jay Z, Kanye West, Mena Suvari, Karl Lagerfeld, Pharell Williams, Chloe Sevigny and many others. Besides taking part of numerous exhibitions and publishing several books Terry directed music videos and television commercials and his feature film debut ‘Son of a Bitch’ is currently in development.
