Model, style icon and rockstar girlfriend - Agyness Deyn was born Laura Hollins on 16 February 1983 in England and she has seriously shaken up the modeling industry.
Just a few years ago she was working in a fish and chip shop in Manchester - now she takes the international catwalks by storm. In1999 she won the Face of Rossendale modeling contest but she put off modeling until she left College, where she studied A-levels in math, theatre and business. Agyness was spotted by Models 1, during a walk with her best friend and chief designer of House of Holland, Henry Holland. Soon after she had signed the contract, she graced the cover of the French Vogue Beauty, was the new face of the Blugirl by Blumarine ad campaign and had her debut at the spring Marc by Marc Jacobs, Proenza Schouler and Zac Posen shows in New York.
By 2007 her boyish figure, short blonde crop and wild Brit style was inspiring designers everywhere, and she was featured on the cover of USA Vogue next to Sasha Pivovarova, Chanel Iman and other members of the new supermodel era. Agyness also appeared on the cover of British and Chinese Vogue and five covers for a special edition of i-D.
Furthermore she became the face of Giorgio Armani, worked together with Mario Testino, Steven Meisel and Jean Paul Gaultier engaged her for the campaign of his perfume ‘Madame’. Aygness Deyn is now one of the most coveted faces on international runways and advertisements. Apart from her modeling career she occasionally DJs and has musical aspirations - having been in 3 various short-lived bands: 5 O‘Clock Heroes, Lucky Knitwear and Gene Jacket.
