Born in 1961 Steven Klein studied painting at the Rhode Island School of Design. After moving into photography he shot several advertising campaigns for Calvin Klein, D&G, Alexander McQueen and Nike and contributes to major magazines such as French and American Vogue, i-D, Numéro, Arena and W, where he is well known for his editorials with Madonna, Tom Ford, Brad Pitt an many others. Klein‘s work has been part of numerous international exhibitions. He is based in New York.
