After studying painting at art school, Steve Hiett went on to the Royal College of Art Graphic Design School in 1962 in London. Here he became interested in music and worked as a professional musician in 1966, playing in several bands until he eventually returned to fashion photography. He has contributed to Nova, English and French Vogue and Marie Claire and has done graphic design, art direction and directed TV commercials for fashion industry clients and publications. Steve is currently based in Paris.
